What do you think is more important for happiness.. to have genuine friends that are always there for you no matter what, or you prefer to be wealthy and lonely?

making friends is better than wealth. So it goes like this.Friendships is the source of greatest pleasures, and without friends even the most agreeable pursuits become tedious..

I think that having friends is something that money cant buy and friendship is definetly better than wealth and being lonely. Its no point being wealthy if you have noone to share in your happiness and to build lasting memories. They said friendship is golden and I strongly feel it is.

well i think i would have to choose friends. money is a good thing to have but it can't be there for you like a good friend. what would happen if you were to go broke, then you will have no money no friends and you'll be lonely. so having friends is the better pick.

that is exactly what i feel also :)) because while you wealthy you have fake friends that only there for the money. BUT not there when you feeling sad or problems. loneliness is the worse thing ever.. i know.. thank you for your response :))

Hi many, I prefer have a good friends than wealthy and lonely, because sometimes you have friends can't compare with anything value in the world. Good friends will keep you go on in your life. Have a nice day my dear.

which is better? personally, i would choose to be wealthy and do not have genuine friends because i already experienced being with good and loyal friends. we have been together since childhood and although there are times that we have some misunderstandings, we easily patched the things up. we are always happy and going out of town, having picnic or swimming to the beach. but i prefer to be wealthy because i want to help other people and make a change in our community. by doing that, i think i will not become lonely.

Well that is a different way of looking at it. but from what i have seen money can really change a person drastically.. But i do think in end you would so crave for someone to like you for you and not for what you have.. So you would be willing to walk away from those friends for money ? have nice day, thanks for the response :))

You can be the richest person in the world & still be lonely, whilst having money & being able to live comfortably is nice I'd still chose friends. Because wealth & money is materialistic & most of the things we buy are luxuries that we just don't need. & to think so much money is being wasted while there are others in the world starving is just wrong

yes :) i agree, and a rich man is never satisfied either.. can buy anything they want, and maybe become bored quickly because they have everything need, but one thing they cant buy and thats genuine true friends.. i have many items.. nice tv, computer, gadgets but i look around, and the room is empty :( loneliness

If I am to choose I would surely pick friends, true frends, for they are one of the most important persons of a man's life. On the other hand, I may prefer to be wealthy but not lonely hehe. What I mean is we could still be rich and happy at the same time.

hehe.. well you would feel rich with good close friend you can always rely on :) ok, so you wealthy, can have everything.. remember, you not know whom is true friend or whom is only after your money ok.. now, you loose it all.. you think those friends still be around? i think not.. i have everything i need here except big garden and swimming pool haha.. but being lonely here is a killer :(

i think friends are better then money! My goodness all you have when you are old is your fanily and friends and you can't take all that money with you when you die but you sure can live in spirt and memoeries with your friends. I would think your friends would give you more happiness.

i would rather have my friends and be happy, if i were healthy and lonely, i would be miserable and the money would be meaningless. As long as i have enough money to get by and be able to save up for things i may want, i am happy

Hi Friend well i must say that balanced of both would be a good blend. I believe one should have reasonable money so he/she can enjoy life with friends and Family. As i believe that Persaons are important than Money but money is important too to keep the circle of life moving. Take care Friend byee

I think that it is definately more important to have genuine friends in order to have true happiness. Humans are made to be social creatures so I can't see how being alone would make someone happy. Wealth is really a nice thing to have but it cannot cuddle you are make you feel complete. Things are boring unless you have someone to share it with. I'd rather be absolutely broke with a few good genuine friends then be wealthy with no real friends at all.

i will never be wealthy. i am thankful for what i have & have worked hard for it. good friends are hard to come by & i feel i am blessed w/the ones i have. i don't think about wealth when it comes to my friends. i feel wealthy tohave as many friends as i do.

I think we appreciate much more when we have to work at it thanks for very good view on this.. you have a nice day

genuine friends are always good and trustworthy. Money and friends may not go together in many cases. Friends with an eye on money can not be termed as real friends.

It is hard to find genuine good friends. I find $ 20.00 bills, on ocassion, lying on the ground. I think the unique option of choosing a genuine friend is worth a lot more than choosing the weath and loneliness. Don't get me wrong, I do not want to be poor. I just value my true friendship over materialistic things.
