singing: a gift...

I learned that I could carry a tune when I was 6 but back then I was hesitant in singing. My father has this great and powerful voice so maybe I got it from him. My mom could sing too, but not as great as my dad (sorry mom!). I started singing in the church and in school and in events. We could all sing in the family, play some instruments and I think music is, well technically, running in our blood... We're music minded, I should say. And I am so proud. My dad tells me that I should be joining contests but I said, " I don't have to shout to the world that I could sing Dad, so long as I have the music in me and keep that music alive, I know the world hears me".

That is great. like to sing but the song doesn't like me. My mom knows how to sing..knows only but not good at it. My father, sings just a little. You're lucky that you have a family with great voices. I wish I have a great voice because I really like to sing. LOL. Anyway, since I love singing, I still sing and practices more so that I will be good at it as a skill. Take care

It's good to hear that you that passion for singing. Continue it! I took my voice lesson when I was younger but opted not to continue my other lessons cause I was more interested in sports.

yeah, i believe so! God has also gifted me the talent in singing and i am using this talent as a choir group member. i am currently an active member of our choral group. we have won a number of contests in our city and still looking forward at joining more contests and win those.
