I have a couple of favorites...
This is one 
The LOL or Laughing out Loud smiley...
Or better yet the ROFL or Rolling on Floor Laughing smiley... (that's reserved for the stories that I find really really funny.)
Another is this 
... Sticking the tongue out smiley.. Beh!
And my favorite (and it's not on here) is this:
The weee! Icon (or this is what I call it anyway... heheh!)
^___^ (Regular weee sign... Funny)
^_____^ (heheh wee sign... Meaning it's pretty funny for me)
and the...
^____________^ (Bwahahahaha weee sign... This means that I'm cracked up from laughing already...)

i think the blush one looks really cute and i also like the confused look one as well
