no i do not agree...it is because oprah became famous because of her abilities to tackle issues difficult issues, her kindness, her generousity, her private life is still kept private even if she is very famous and known worldwide..with kris aquino..she can't stop her mouth, she is sometimes tackless and talks without thinking that what she says will very hurt other people...and she became famous because of the scandalous issues..her life is very public and open..she can talk i have to agree and she has many followers but she is not that great..its just media hype.

Yeah i guess you could say that. They both are very prominent names in talkshow hosting in their respective countries. And yeah you're right about that, too, that one of the thing that separates them is that Kris prefers her lovelife to be an open book unlike Oprah's. Maybe it's because it's the way she was recognized in the Philippines - her bluntness and openness about her life and her opinions whether it be about her private life or about the issues and rumors and intrigues in the Philippines. I like Oprah better because she's more prim and sophisticated and humble at the same time. Her opinions are very meaningful and her advocacies are admirable.
