Ok...can someone please help me? I'm trying to figure out what determines these little stars by our names. My start just showed up today showing that I have a rating of 71 out of 100. What exactly does that mean? Also, I received a "congratulations you have a best response" or something like that a while ago. Who determines that? Is the discussion author supposed to determine that, or how does that work? I've read the FAQ's about the DRS (discussion rating system) and it only talks about the + or - on the discussion itself. Thanks in advance!

I believe it is a rating of how good people have rated you.

I have just crossed the 100 mark and received the 8 star rating, as you said it determines the ratings of your response. how do you rank in your response, the way you write counts . was your answer appropriate . the BEST RESPONSE is determined by the author who started the discussion and mylot just intimates in your mail .this is what I have understood about mylot, hope this cleared atleast some your confusions. bye
