iPhone jealousy

So my fiance's dad is a HUGE Apple fan, and he recently got a newer iPhone--I think it's a 3G, but I'm not positive. At any rate, he gave his old iPhone to my fiance, and we decided to go ahead and activate it last night. All I got out of this lousy deal is my fiance's old cell phone. :) I'm SUPER jealous of his iPhone though. I had to sit and reenter all of my friends' phone numbers into my new-to-me phone, while he just punched them all in on his computer and then updated his phone. He got to set up custom ringtones, while I just had to dig around and find the standard ones that I like. Plus, he gets E-mail on his phone. And Google Maps. And music. The list goes on and on. The good news is that I will probably be getting an iPhone in February, when our old cell phone contract expires. And of course, I'll probably get the 3G at that point, assuming there's not something newer by then. Anyone else have an iPhone and want to tell me what I'm missing? :)

I don't have an iPhone and I too suffer from iPhone jealousy when I look at others who are showing off with it. Although logically, I understand that its all hype and in the end, its only a phone, sometimes I just feel like getting it strongly, but luckily, the price puts me off. I'm not a popular person, so I am not really a heavy cell phone user, thus getting an iPhone would be underutilized. Better to spend the money wisely with the gloom in the economy nowadays. But I admit - it doesn't make me want the iPhone any lesser.

I too burn my skin for an iPhone. Its a item of envy and you know the facilities well. Wish, they were little cheaper and I could suggest you now. They are pretty and worth carrying in our wallet.
