I am laughing so hard right now.

I hear my sister calling my name from the other room. So, I walk in there, and they're all staring up at the ceiling. I look up, and I see salsa all over it. I look down, and it's all over the floor, wall, and couch. I could hear the screeching horror music in my head, like we were two seconds away from coming face to face with the killer. It's a mess! After a few moments of staring, I double over with laughter, to the point where I am relying on a clean portion of the couch to keep me standing. I gave her a shampooer, and brought her the shop-vac, and told her where the ladder was, and that's all that I am going to do to help her. I clean up after her enough as it is. I included a picture, although it's hard to see. It is of the ceiling, as best as I could capture it. She just got off of the phone with the parents. Time to hide!

Oh dude, that must suck. Are your parents pissed? It's a good thing you didn't do it. You were still a good sibling telling her where everything was. I would have laughed and went back to my room.

Are my parents mad? Well, I am not sure what my mother thinks, but I know that Dad said something to her and then hung up on her. Knowing him, he is fuming at work. I plan on hiding in my room until the parents get home and they talk it out because I don't want to be in the middle of everything. And yeah, I gave her a little bit of help. Generally, I do a lot of her chores and stuff, and she needs to learn to take responsibility for her actions. This is the perfect time to get her started on that. And, I can't go out there, because every time I see it, I do just as you said you would. It's still funny!

It is still not cleaned up yet. I think they have gotten it from the floor and the couch, but I just walked in there, and it is still all over the ceiling. We have one of those textured ceilings, I am not sure what they are called, and so it's rubbing those off everywhere that they are cleaning.

Yeah, I must have forgot to hit submit on the upload or something. The picture IS in my photos on my profile if you want to go look at it. I am not sure how it got up there. We have high ceilings and all she did was drop the bowl, and it's almost like it exploded! Thank you for responding.

Wow, hmm. It may have been something in the salsa, did she heat the salsa?

I think what she is telling me is that either she accidentally dropped it, or the bowl was so hot that she dropped it. Either way, it hit the floor and from the floor, somehow went all over the ceiling, wall, and couch. There could easily be more to that, but that is all that she has told me. But yeah, it is a mess.

What made her do something like that? lolol omg! your parents must have not been happy to hear or see that when they got home. I seriously don't blame you for hideing. I can picture it now. LOLOL what did your parents say to her? I hope she dosn't do something like this again. All I can say is good luck to her.

Mom and grandma just got home. And they're not that mad. But, Dad was mad, hopefully he will be calmed down by the time he gets home. We're making chili for supper, I hope that she doesn't drop that, too. We're making fun of her right now, but I am sure in a few days everyone will be laughing.

Wow! How could one mage to get salsa all over the cieling, couch, floor and everything? That's crazy! I have been pretty messed up before and I have never done anything like that. Woa. Was she, like, throwing it everywhere or did she have a blender in her room or something? I really don't understand how someone could manage to do that. Tell her good luck with that. =)

As I commented earlier, she said that it was dropped. I am curious, though, as to how the salsa fought gravity and splattered on our high ceilings. We have a simple one-story house, but the way that they've built these, they have really tall ceilings in the living room. That is a lot of distance to travel. And, I will tell her.

Wow, the sad thing is, knowing your sister, I can actually believe this. It's truely amazing, I must say. Tell her I said that. She did a good job with this one. I just ahve to wonder: Did she get caught, or did she clean up enough to the point where it went unnoticed?

She had to call the parents because she realized that the mess was just too big for her to tackle herself. So, they came home and saw her "masterpiece" on the ceiling. We have one of those textured ceilings that can break off, so we were not quite sure how to tackle this mess. They ended up cleaning it off with a toothbrush and some cleaner, but yeah. Mother was not too upset, but Dad was livid when he first came home and saw the ceiling. And, I will be sure to tell her.
