As my physical body needs food for nourishment so as my spiritual body needs the word of God for nourishment.

When I read the Bible, I found it made me think deeply about many things that are more important in life than those we imagine are. It was refreshing and probably made me a better person.

To me, the bible is a good story book. It is also very dangerous, I knew a woman who got married as a non christian. This woman, after mothering 2 children changed her priorities and got baptized. Her husband refused to follow her and the relationship soured. Whenever he confronted her, the bible came between them. Eventually, he left her with the 2 children and her bible. It is a book if you take too serious, you can do evil things to yourself and loveones easily. I have benefitted by observing peoples' behavior who have taken the bible too seriously. I learn not to follow them

When I read the bible I feel hope. it gives me security in life. It is truly the book of life. But of course for you to be able to appreciate it and benefit from it fully you must first know the author which is God. By accepting Him in your life means believing and having faith in all that He did for us. Whenever I feel down or even when I'm happy I read the bible for reassurance that God is with us all the time. it is the best manual I've read in my life. It covers a lot of topic about life. That is the effect of the Bible to me.

whenever i read the bible i feel my faith grows and nothing can harm me because of His promises.I feel my soul is being nourish.I started reading the bible when i was still in college and i got to finish reading it but still it never stop to amaze me His promises the place h made for us,the sacrifices h must take for us and i feel so low because of my sins. And thankful that he still accept a sinner like me without any question.
