I wonder if the mylot stalkers actually get bonus points or pay for stalking us decent folks....If it actually PAID out to stalk and harrass ppl would you sign up for the job and risk totally messing up whatever reputation (assuming its not already damaged by some other stupid thing you've done) you may have with ppl both online and off?

Oh to be that popular that I might have stalkers! So long as they come to my discussions and boost the numbers I don't mind too much whether they get paid or not. I can't imagine that I would want to stalk someone whether I was paid or not. When it's quiet I have been known to look at a friends profile to see if they've been anywhere interesting, I suppose that is technically stalking but I only do it when I am very bored. I think that I am plenty capable of messing up my own reputation without anyone else helping. LOL.

I really don't know Raven but I have to say that I am starting to think this to with the way it is going here And once they have done enough damage to one they start on the next So they must be getting something out of it

Lately, I have been thinking about this very thing. Oh, not that mylot would intentionally reward stalkers of course, but that that might happen in an unintentional manner. Part of my musings are based on the fact that mylot doesn't tell us precisely how it awards money, a completely understandable thing. You see, if you start a topic, it seems that the more people who reply, the more money you get. Well, I began to wonder if, the more people who reply to a reply would garner more money if that is true (and I have no way of knowing) then stalking someone, in a topic like religion, or even politics, a hot button topic if you will, could be very lucrative. Well, that's just a thought, not trying to figure out how the pay scale works, I understand why they might like to keep it a secret.

Hi Raven...for me that is a definite NO...it would be interesting to know why these people do stalk others and what they get out of it specially if it isn't for money...
