Oh No!!! The ads are talking to us now...

I was really liking one of the changes here at myLot, and that's the fact that there seem to be less ads thrown at us while we type. Now tonight, as I'm posting to a few discussions, I find that the ads are now talking to us. That so drives me crazy when I have to listen to anything like that - even the music people put on their profiles drives me batty (I turn it off right away or leave their profile). The first time I heard it tonight I was trying to figure out how I got a pop-up ad going on. Then I realized it was myLot. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it was kinda shocking at first.

That is really strange my one don't do that, but a couple of weeks ago my computer was laughing at me.

I really haven't been on mylot as much this past month. I've gotten a little discouraged with how people start many discussions and don't respond back to the discussions they start. I've been known to turn off the notifications of friends that do this and I think I'm going to have to do it once again. I respond to more discussions than start, so I would like it when I respond to at least get some type of response some of the time.
Sorry this isn't what your discussion is about. So on to the discussion you started is that since I haven't been on too much I haven't noticed what you are talking about. But I usually keep my speakers turned down any way. I've probably only responded to less than a dozen discussions since the new changes. So I guess I will figure out all the new changes the more that I respond to discussions.

Yeah, I noticed that you respond to your discussions. I'm talking about the one's that don't respond to even one of their responses in the discussions that they start. When you respond to your discussion it brings it back to the top so your friends that haven't seen your discussion can see it.

But, yes I understand what you mean about those that just seem to post a topic and then abandon it. Seems strange sometimes because a lot of times they have some really good responses!

Like the first person said I am going to have to keep my speakers off, she comes on almost every page I go to. I can't get this woman to shut up.

I do not know because I have my speakers turned off most of the time. I sometimes listen to the radio on i-tunes. Not tonight I am have the radio off. Thanks for the warning.

Hi , it drivs me crazy too and i was not used to hearing them . Sometimes i would put music on and relax while here on the lot . it is funny because i had the speakers all the way up , and was what the heck is that now

It's yelling at me right now for the 1000th time in the last
2 days! I can't take it anymore! We have been talking about
it earlier in the day. It is driving us crazy. There is no
way to turn it off. We would really appreciate it if mylot
would please make it stop already. Anyway, It's nice to meet

Some of the other sites that do this have a button to turn the sound off on it. I'd like to be able to do that here. Maybe they'll add that feature for the next round of improvements...

I haven't heard anything on mine. Maybe it is from your Computer? Personally, I do not let things like this bother me. This site is still awesome with all the new changes, and makes me look even more forward to come here each day and post some.
