We've all heard of wikipedia but google is soon launching "knol" which they want to be the best online wikipedia. The difference however between wikipedia and knol is that authors get paid for their articles and can put adverts on the articles they write. Authors will also not be able to edit other peoples articles which means that page vandalisation is no longer possible. However author must have a good quality of writting for their article to be published. It is still in testing stages but i think we it does get launched that it would create a big buzz and many people will be using it.
