The old Testament is not part of the Christian bible

i believe that the Old Testament its not part of the Christian literature. somebody gave me the Gideon' International bible which is only New Testament and i have spent so much time and energy reading it and i found that the message in the new testament is centers around Jesus as the man to be called for our salvation and the letters of Paul profess the Christian faith in a different way that the message that i awayas hear in the church. Paul and the early Christians seems to be more interested in the story of Jesus of Nazareth not on Moses' bible
