Most of the sms which i get is from my friends sharing good quotes, jokes and wishes. how many sms do you send and recieve in a day? Do you write replies for all the messages? I am from india, we are getting lot of offers from our network providers in which we may be able to reduce the sms rates. some mobile service providers also give unlimited sms also. when those offers come my inbox get full easily. i need more time to delete the repeated ones to recieve the important messages.

I also do sms more than calling becoz it cost me lesser. here sms cost me one sixth of a call. so if i have only a little to convey i use sms. THANKS for your opinion.

Somewhere around 200-250. It depends actually. If I have college and have to go, then I do not talk much because I do not like using cellphones in the class. If I'm staying home or going out with friends, then I keep messaging all of them and keep in touch. I do not like those forward messages which people send to me saying this and that. Although there are some messages that my friends send me that make me laugh. I like messages coming in from some people. Overall on an average, the total number of messages ranges from 100-150. bourne

I receive a lot of text message a day and most of them are jokes, quotes, inspirational messages, and other forwarded messages from my friends. My friends are really the type who maximize the use of unlimited text promo so they all their messages in their inboxes. I only read the first line so when I notice that it is a forwarded message, I dont read it to end. And what I hate to read, is chain message. I rarely send messages. I only send important ones, I dont forward quotes and whatsoever. But I always reply if the SMS is not forwarded message. In one day, I send maybe ten text message and I receive around, minimum of 30.

I also have accepting repeated messages but can't blame our friends for that. how will they know that i got it earlier from someone else. sms will maintain a relationship between our friends even if they are far away from us.

not much. there are days that i don't send/receive any sms. i text only when it is important and during special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, valentines, christmas, etc. when i receive a beautiful inspirational messages and i'm in the mood to forward them, i do. i write replies if there's a need to. otherwise, i will just forward a joke or inspirational message, depending on what was sent to me. text messaging is one technology that has it's advantages and disadvantages. as an advantage, it is one economical way of communicating with your friends and relatives, even with your business colleagues. however, there are scrupulous individuals that use text to scam others, just like the internet. to me, text messaging and the cellphone itself, is a very useful technology.

Hi, I am from the Philippines and currently we have promos for unlimited text messages for only a small amount. I used to make about 50 text messages to my girlfriend with it. But now, I avail of a plan for unlimited calling. With it, I am rarely using the text option. Maybe only 5 times a day on the average. Have a nice day!

Hi Sandeep as INDIA is a booming place we all enjoy many such services but unfortunately i don't have time to use these services as when ever i stay online i am logged into mylot and enjoy here.I can count per month rather than per day.Maximum of 20 to 30 sms per month and that too only through mobile and not through free sms sites.I usually make calls rather than sms's as i prefer those over sms.Cheers MOIN.

I dont send or redieve text messaging. I would much rather talk on the phone. On the other had both my son and daughter use it and they must text all day long. They have 50 and up each. I really cant be bothered.

I usually send at least 40 a day ... and received bout 50 a day, most of it is a short text message, and some kind of wishes, pray or even chain text XD I reply only if they need to reply, i can send a lot of text message in one day, this is because my Phone Cell Provider give all of the user free short message, with 100 limit per day and for the same provider ^_^

I have to say i am not good at texting messages. And i rarely send sms unless i have something important to notify, because i consider it as a waste of time. But at the same time i have to admit its positive side,it can improve relationships , make your life a little more humurous if that sms is a joke.and it is cheaper than making a phonecall. Anyway, every coin has two sides.

Sending text messages for me is better than calling. Aside from its affordability, your message can be clearer and the receipient has time to review the message. I guess the average messages I send in a day is ten and I receive about 15. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

I recieve SO many text messages! It's how me and my friends communicate a lot of the times. It saves us time for when we have just a simple question to ask. Also it's much easier to text while at work than to get on the phone. I say that I get and recieve about 15 texts a day. I send pictures and everything to my friends. I think that text messaging is a huge advantage! Some might worry that it takes away the "personal touch" of a phone call, but, not to me. To me communication is done in many forms and one isn't neccesarily more "personal" than the other.

I get 100 free messages per day as i am under a student plan still after 2 years of leaving college. Out of 100 i have even reached 111 messages a day i sent and 200 msg i recieved . This has always been helpful as we all friends communicated using SMS more than calls. Its a fun way of sharing thoughts, urgently informing others or just pinging. Best part is that its free
