would you trade love for immortality?

im a fan of amsterdam series. i love it specially the ost i believe by blessid union of souls. if given a chance youll be granted to have eternal life meaning you will not get old, you will not die in exchange of not having the right to fell deeply in love with someone because if you do youll lose the power of immortality, will you accept it? im really having second thoughts. how about you?

This is a great topic but for me the answer is very easy. You see trading love to live forever would mean I would not have my beautiful wife to love. So no I would not trade her love for anything. Her and I have been married for almost 20 years and just thinking about going on in life without her would be devastating.
What is the sense of living forever if you cant experiance the feeling of love from another caring human being. Not sure about others but Im sure anyone who has truly experianced true undying love wouldnt trade that for anything

but what if you will also be granted to make another soul as immortal would you accept it this time? for example you can make your wife immortal too. would you grab the opportunity?

Well thats a tough one to answer but after a coule of minutes of careful thought I think I would have to say no. I dont believe we are meant to live forever. I do want to grow old with my wife but Im sure the time will come when I am tired and I just want to say good bye. Now I believe in heaven and I believe I will be with my loved ones there as well.
Its just scary to think of living forever. Many will disagree with me but thats what open discussions are about

NO because i will end up being miserable. Love is such a wonderful feeling, so I prefer not to have an eternal life, if happiness will be taken away from me.

I think the story is made from imagination. As for me there is no such immortality. To have an eternal life we should all die. Dying is not the end but it is a Door to a new beginning. Beginning of Eternal Life. Love is not for Trade. Love only happens once in a lifetime so for me I won't trade it. Love means to sacrifice, to fight for it and to die for it. Love is the most wonderful memory you will left and you can bring when you die.
