hunger....and dieting

i have gained so much weight since i got married because my hubby and i keep coooking and eating and eating ... so sometimes i would go on a diet to shed off the unwanted pounds. but i don't normally keep it because we eat a lot! anyway, sometimes i complain but then again i guess i can consider myself blessed because many many more people around the world are going hungry because of the world food crises. is depressing...i don't come from an affluent family, but at least we have good to eat. we eat more than 3 times a day. but there are more who are getting hungry. what an irony.... so let us not be wasteful with our food. good day and God bless us all!

Hello! I hope I can remember or be mindful of the hungry when I eat. I don't waste food, don't get me wrong. But maybe I do when I eat too much. Sometimes I realize that when I eat too much, my body is receiving so called nutrition in excess. That's because most of the time I eat for pleasure not really because my body needs nourishment. Oh well. I should also cut down my intake because my bulges are growing where I don't want them to.

Hello spoiled311, I am fortunate enough to still have food on the table for every meal. I always cook at home so that my family can have a good meal. I pity people especially small babies and young kids who have to suffer just to have a meal every day. I try not to waste so much food and so I always make sure that I cook enough for the three of us at home. I seldom have leftover. My husband doesn't like it either. I tried to diet for a few times just to make sure I maintain my ideal weight but it is hard as whenever I cook, I will eat together with my family.

HI spoiled, I agree with you..When My husband and I will eat out then I will noticed a lot of food are left in people's plate, I will always remember millions of people have nothing to eat yet there are also people who are wasting their food! Very sad fact! I don't eat 3 times a day..LOL! Since I am not working and I don't feel hungry. Unlike when I was working, I can eat several times a day and still not gaining weight because of stress and hard work! Anyway, I don't have much appetite when I am alone, my husband workplace is 25 minutes away from our house, so, he is just bringing lunch with him! I eat a lot during weekend, I am more motivated since I have company!

i find that weightwatchers is the easiest diet to follow as you are not expected to cut out any food groups. I eat chocolate everyday! and ive lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks :)
