Holiday in Nimes

A couple of weeks ago I had a few glasses of wine and booked a return flight to Nimes in France - basically I'm going on holiday by accident! I'm not going until October so I have plenty of time to find a hotel etc, but I've never been to that part of France before (although I have read about it and it sounds great), so I just wondered if anybody has been, or lives there, can they recommend anywhere to visit, a hotel etc?

I haven't been to Nimes yet but hope that you will have a lovely holiday. Booking a trip by accident is a wonderful thing to do. Last Christmas I did much the same thing and this summer I flew with my toddler son to Latvia. Going on holiday in October is lovely idea because it will mean a relaxing break for you before the onset of winter. I suggest a travel guide book and the Internet if you don't manage to find anyone that has been to Nimes. Good luck.
