Do your referrals treat you kindly?

I have not quite experienced this yet but thats ok he's my buddy from school and he's a guy. But I wondered if any of you out there had a referral that joined and regularly contributes to Mylot? I hear that a lot of times a referral will join but soon enough be not existant with very little activity. Or are you one of those referrals who joined to just check it out and suprised by how much you liked it? What do you think about the referral system--is it a efficient and fair way to keep your earnings steady or do you have an idea for a better way for Mylotters to bring in their earnings (aside of just discussions)?
