Referral auctions

Any fellow MyFreeShares members watching the ebay auctions? What am I missing here?
The current bid on ebay for 200 referrals is $66. If you buy the July advertising package for $25 you get ads plus 200 referrals. Why would anyone pay so much more money for the referrals and not get the advertising package??
