You could ask her to draw dark clouds, cars and industries vomiting smoke. If she is a small kid, you could also suggest her to draw some flowers with a sad face or crying.

I think it depends on how old the girl is... and what she is interested in... if she likes swimming... then she can draw the sea, river, or lake... but instead of coloring it blue... can use black or brown... and put a lot of garbage items there... If she likes the sky... the she can draw the sky but insead of the blue sky... she can change the color and add a lot of dark smog... the list goes on and on... but it really depends on what she likes...

Here's a funny way to describe pollution, crumple a page from the drawing book.. Littering plenty of those can contribute to pollution. sorry, for my bad humor.. But seriously, for a theme about pollution? Why not smoke emitting things like factories, or cars? Perhaps a good number of cars passing through a road that has plenty of factories emitting smoke?

To draw a picture of polution? Polution in pictures can be factories spewing smoke into he air, cars spewing exhaust, garage on the ground... How are those for ideas?
