Hi, I was wondering if any one knew any simple patterns in either crochet or knitting for hats. I love to make scarfs in the winter and would like to make hats to match. I would appreciate any and all Ideas. Thank you in advance.

are you a member of Ravelry? Its a fantastic resource for patterns, advice, and general hints and tips. I think its still in Beta phase but its worth the wait of a couple of days to get your log in. Its really helped me develop the way I approach knitting and crochet.

All of the yarn brands like Lionbrand and Bernat have free patterns on their website. They offer patterns with different levels of difficulty.
