Google Ad Words

Has anyone had really good luck with AdWords? What do you think you did that made it work? If you didn't have luck why do you think you didn't? I have just started looking into everything here on the net and have made a whopping 3.12 with AdWords in the past 5 weeks... Any advice? Tips? Other suggestions?

Hi, I am not sure how to use AdWords and I do not dare to try because Io am afraid that I will pay a lot of money. How did you make 3.12 using AdWords? Can share your experience with me? I would love to hear and learn.
