does your spouse snore?

Do you have a spouse or boy/girlfriend who snores? How do you get them to stop? Is it so bad that you have trouble sleeping in the same room as them? My husband snores occasionally and I usually just shake him a little and he'll roll over and stop snoring. If he's had a particularly long day, though, it can be quite a feat to get him to sleep more sound! It can definitely be frustrating at times.

My boyfriend has his nose broken once, so the cartalidge or however you spell it, in his nose is slightly bent/broken. Because of this he doesnt nessicarily snore, but his breathing is incredibly deep and loud- I'm one of these people that need a nice silent enviroment to sleep, and because of his nose, he makes too much noise. I occasionally just poke him or nudge him, which MAY wake him up, (i'm unsure of) but atleast he stops... for a little while.

That's unfortunate! I'm sorry to hear about that. I had a friend with a deviated septum that had a similar problem

My husband snores.. a lot. When he does this, I usually pat him a little until he changes position. Most of the time, though, as soon as he changes position, he snores louder. So what I do is try to make him move again. If to still no avail, I have no choice but to wake him up. When it comes to this point, he knows he has to face away from me so I can sleep. here are time too, that our 2 year old daughter would run to him and say "Daddy QUIET!!!!". That breaks us up into fits of laughter.

My husband snores and OMG it's a task in itself for me to fall asleep. He snores so loud it sounds like he's trying to talk to someone in another room. We've tried the strips but he says they don't feel comfortalbe to him. So finally I just broke down and bought ear plugs. I figured it's the only way I'm going to get a good nights sleep and him too. Cause if not I'm just going to spend most of the night trying to wake him up so he can stop snoring in my ear.

My fiance snores but only a little bit. Not too much. It's accualy comforting to hear it because it lets me know he is still there even though I know he is.

That's sweet :) I'm glad it isn't enough to distract you or keep you awake! Trust me, I'd rather have it your way!

My wife snores. Sometimes she snores so loudly that she wakes herself up I don't mind the noise she makes, I actually find it peaceful. My ex had sleep apnea and the silence of her not breathing was downright scary at times. I'll take snoring, any day

My father-in-law snores so loud he wakes himself up. When he comes to visit, I can hear him snoring from the other room! My stepdad has sleep apnea and that's scary, so I know what you mean on that one!
