do we have mac user here? my mac start up automatically, can not fix it...

it's really in a strange way. bought it in April,07, and now it's starting to get wild. it often happens in midnight. i have to take battery away if i want to have some sleep... anybody knows why? cheer,

Do you mean that you are getting a lot of fan noise? If so. Switch off completely and disconnect the battery. Leave it for at least 20 seconds before reattaching the battery and starting it up. If it still doesn't work you need to get it looked at by a specialist. If it is still under warranty take it back to where you bought it from and demand that they replace or repair it.

nope, it's just off the warranty recently. no noise, just switch on by itself. i try to every way i can think of to get rid of this weired condition. called them,but the guy from apple doesn't know either. hardware problem? ....

Very weird. It hasn't got an automatic update file running somewhere has it? Something that switches it on at that time. Try www.macformat.co.uk/forums they may have an idea. I've solved all my Mac problems there pretty much.
