Hello, i have a confession to make. and please get angry with me. i only want to tell the truth. I am a teacher and we teachers do talk about students after class in office just like students do . some students are worth respecting, some are dilligent and we love them, but there are some who are disliked by most the teachers. A student in his late 40s pestered each teacher in their spare time, asking some ridiculous questions and occupies each teacher's spare time a lot. So we gave him a nickname call big eyebag :) . and later , on mentioning Mr.big eyebag , every teacher feel disgusting and disturbing.

Hahaha, that made me laugh. Seriously, there's nothing wrong with calling students nicknames--we do that often enough to teachers (and our peers). It's understandable that people would be annoyed at someone who asks ridiculous questions, so nicknaming him is no big deal. Besides, it's all in good humor right? Sometimes a bit of laughter is just how we deal with bad things...

Thank you for your kind understanding. And what's more, it is no easy job to find a suitable and vivid nickname, it is kind of art. :) Have a good time at mylot.

hi,teacher i am so happy almost all of my teachers treat me well of course i don't know how they think about me after class it is your freedom to talk about anyone about anything if you don't break the law but i don't suport your views isn't the teacher a occupation that teach the student how to learn as well as how to be a person who is not naughty?

hi, honey, it is teacher's duty to educate, but don't forget one important thing--teachers are human, and human make mistakes. i only speak out the truth which sounds harsh. then why not? since this is a good stage for us to express our true feelings. are u happy to read "i love my students , they are my everything, i love them so so much?" i would rather shut my mouth than tell lies in here.

Well, you can't really know, unless they have a mole on their side. Just like the way you discuss the nick names you give to the teachers only in the presence of your friends and not the teachers, they also might discuss good nick names for you in the staff room, where nobody can hear them except the teachers. So the chances that teachers have a nick name for you and would know are very less. I never knew if my teacher had a nick name for me, but I'm sure that they had one. bourne

well, the chances are not very remote. cause i used to find suitable and vivid nickname when i was in school. it's natural for students gossip teachers, then why can't teachers? or they can't only because they are teachers. if some students really impress them no matter they like some of them or hate , they can find a nice nickname or a funny one. haha :)

Yes, teachers do. This is one way a teacher the students personality. So it is easy for teachers to give an evaluation. A teacher should know he/his students very well. One way to know the student is that he/she must have a distinguishing character or an annoying character that would certainly bugged a teacher for sometime. But for all I know, teachers don't give bad names. But students do give bad names. Students don't wanna be caught talking about their teacher so they hide it through the nicknames they made up based on a teachers personality too. take care =)

some teachers do when they have plenty time to gather and chat at office. it is nature for people to comment on people or those they serve or contact, isn't it? as i said just like studens gossip teachers. :)
