Blogging, Who does it and how do you get paid

My wife wants to sign up to a blogging site where she can get paid to blog. However that is one money making idea I have never tried. All of my wonderful friends here on Mylot has helped me in other areas and I know you will not let me down now.
1) Where can you go to get paid to blog?
2) How do you know what to write about?
3) What are some tips that you have found to help you in your blogging?

I have checked that out and am not yet to the point of buying an ebook on the subject. Thanks for the info though. I will keep it in mind.

No worries mate. I figure he might be the might one of the best resource to check out since he's making a considerable amount of income online through blog and a subject matter expert in Singapore.

Thank you. I will have her check those out. If you have any advise as to how long soes it take for her blogs to be accepted i would appreciate that. She has blogged some when she was on Myspace but has not done much lately. Please, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The simplest way to start off is to create a blog on Blogger and sign up for PayPerPost and SnapBomb. Both these are legitimate and accept infant blogs. But the hitch is your blog needs to be atleast 30 days old with 10 posts in the last 30 days. But you don't have to wait that long. Found this blog that gave me the tweak to it:
