Nine Inch Nails on tour!

I'm so happy that my fiance suggested that I look at the NIN site yesterday, because I discovered that their tour starts in British Columbia on Friday, and then brings them to Seattle the next night! So even though it was very last minute, we bought tickets and will be seeing Nine Inch Nails on Saturday night! I'm very excited because the last time I saw them was 13 1/2 years ago, on the Downward Spiral tour. My fiance has never gotten to see them. So this is a really exciting show for us! Are you planning to see NIN on this tour?

Yeah, I was VERY surprised that we could still get decently good tickets just a few days before the show! I think we could have even gotten floor seats, but I didn't want to be involved in any mosh pit happenings. I am too small and fragile. :)

I've never gotten a chance to see NIN live. I shall have to go check out the tour dates and see if they're coming around here. There was an incident last time they played here and the rumor mill said that Trent said he'd never come back... I just never have money to see them, they always play big places, so the ticket prices are so high. *goes to check tour dates*

Interestingly, I think Trent says he's never coming back to a lot of places. Before the 1995 show in St. Louis, he had played another venue there, and because of the venue, there was no mosh pit or much craziness going on--it's an old, beautiful theater, and people in St. Louis have a lot of respect for it. The 1995 show was in a regular arena, and people were much more active. He said St. Louis redeemed themselves. :)

I think lots of musicians say they won't come back to some place and then do. Honestly, it's not like they have that much say. Their booking agents and such do all the planning, not them. I'm sure if they had a real issue w/ a location they'd let their booking agent know, but I'm sure it's not that big of a deal. I guess last time NIN came to town, someone threw a lighter on stage and it smacked him in the forehead and he walked off stage and refused to finish the show and said he wouldn't come back. Unfortunately, the closest date to me is about 200 miles away and with gas prices so high I probably won't be going.

They are on tour once again! There are no dates released as of yet, but it sounds like it will be a long one.
