I must say that the Redwall series by Brian Jaques are my favorite books. I read them in middle school and have never forgotten them! I have never really been into Lord of the Rings, but my husband is, and I have watched many a movie with him! lol

if you hadn't read the LOTR books, i bet the movies were somewhat incomprehensible? :)
