We're in the middle of "monsoon season", July 15-Sept. 15) where we have spectacular rains and horizontal lightening. We love it, because, in Arizona, we nee the rain!

Vlad.
Remember when I almost lost my shoe in the orange mud outside of the cafe in Sedona during last year's rain? LOL

We have been having a wonderful summer. Lots of rain for the yard and plants but not so much as to be a problem. The temps are nice also. The humidity has been high only a few days. I think this is the nicest summer we have had in a long time.

Hi raydene! Here in my end, we have scorching heat but it shouldn't be like that since it is now the rainy season in our place. For the past days now, the sun is shining so brightly and so hot. I am in danger of having heat stroke! Yikes!
Take care and God Bless!

it's beautiful now and no bad weather in sight. there was one house we lived in and we had problems with mud too. it was awful and we could get stuck in it. hope you can dry up just a little to clear up the mud but stay green.

We had some unbelieeable rain here the otherday. It wasn't that muddy (I live downtown so there's not a lot of grass and non-paed areas here), but the waer was gushing down the street like a raging river, that night. I sepped outside the cafe for hal a second, and got totally soaked. I ended up taking a cab home.

Well Raydene, Spring was torrential downpours leading to some of the worst flooding in US history. The beginning of Summer was a series of bad thunderstorms and continued flooding and just Monday we had our major derecho event which caused 13 1/2 hrs of no power at home, 2 days lost from work for my husband and many parts of the area still have no power 4 days later. Other than that it's been just peachy!
What has stunned me the most is how we keep going from extreme heat to very unusual cool. Today it was cloudy and never got past 72 degrees. This is the average night time temperature around here for the summer months not daytime temps! I'm not going to complain though. It's nice to have fresh air and not have to turn on the air conditioner.
Sorry you've got so much mud and rain. It's been a very unusual season for weather!
