Saddest New You Received?

based on my experienced the saddest news that i ever received was from my dad saying that my mom was died. i got shocked and the tears started to came out from my eyes. i don't knew what to do at that very moment. how about you, what was the saddest news you ever received?

Apart from the deaths of family, there are two things that will forever stand out sadly in my mind. First I was a junior in high school when President John Kennedy was killed. That affected our whole school. I have never heard such quiet as we rode the school buses home. Then the other sad news was when the Challenger shuttle blew up at launch. I was working at a medical clinic and one of my co-workers came running up to the reception area where I worked at told us, with tears in her eyes, what had happened.
