ok come on ladies and men i want to hear about your friday night out doing your food shopping.. i just hate the food shopping and i do it on friday night if not then on a saturday and both are just horrid lol, i always get a shopping trolley so i dont get hit with someone elses trolley!!! i think they should have a person directing traffic in the shopping centres on friday nights and sat mornings.. really most days and nights can be a nightmare in the shopping centre doing the food shoppng ..i used to go at midnights to do shopping and it was great but then it became popular and so did a lot of others lol..so do you have a story to tell about how some one hit you with their trolley or they just did something to really bug you or like me, i think we need a person directing traffic so one gets hurt lol...its a crazy world out there .... hugsssssssssssssss

Yes Shel, It's like that in the USA too! It's horrible going grocery shopping and dangerous too! I have been hit by those carts (trolleys) many times. People just don't care. You are right someone should direct traffic. I never like to go to the grocery store. It seems no matter what time I go it's always crowded. I know my way around the store because I shop at the same one each time but it still ends up taking me at least two hours. I try to only do one big shopping once a month and then me and my boyfriend pick up a few things once a week.

I would never shop on Friday night. That is my night to relax! I usually go shopping Saturday morning and bring my 8 yr old daughter with me. We go to the store where my husband works, so it is more of a treat for my daughter. I find if I go around 10am, it isn't that busy. All the workers there know me and are friendly with me, so it is generally not too bad of an experience.

I always hated grocery shopping but now with prices going up on my favorite foods I hate it even more now. I have now started shopping for lesser quality brands and usuing more cupons now when I never used to do any of these things. I have also gone somedays after work only getting certain items at a time so I don't end up with a huge bill to pay. I also stop going with my sons so I don't end up with any extras in the cart that I don't really need.

Shopping during the weekends is one big sacrifice because almost all the people are doing their own on that same day. Too many people in the cashier queue is what I really hate. Imagine wasting so much time in the queue and I don't understand why they can't open additional payment counters. However, weekends are the only available time for me so I have no choice and besides there are also good bargain offers during weekends so there is also some benefits.
