I have never been an advocate for MLM methods of extra income. Lately, I realise that through the years, many methods of earning extra income have come and gone. The MLM way of extra income still stays. In fact, they move and change with time. What do you think of this view. Are you agreeable that MLM is here to stay for decades to come?

I think MLM is almost like franchising, where you have to shell out less money but more work for yourself. I think it's ok, but I seriously hate their business practice. I used to be a part of MLM called Nu Skin and my upline told me to lie on the phone, to be something I am not. I almost lose some of my friends because of this but frankly, if people can handle those situations then I guess you could give it a go.

Sorry to hear this. I am not a fan of MLM but I do think that not all MLM are bad, now. Maybe, it is more the people than the business. In order to sell some products, people would not reveal the entire truth otherwise they lose that sale.

I agree that multi-level marketing is here to stay for good. However, I don't agree that it's the best way. There are many other ways to make extra income that has a much better success rate than MLM does. Too many people lose money with MLM's and/or don't make any themselves. Does that sound like the best way to make money? It doesn't to me. The best way is a way that can work for anyone as long as they're willing to do what it takes. Some people will say that that will fit MLM's, but what if you can't afford to be in one? Just my thoughts :)

MLM industry will definitely say. There have been companies that come and go. But some companies have been around for a very long time and still going strong today, as they adapt to changes along the years such as leveraging on the internet and riding on the latest trends of today. Although I've seen aggressive and dirty tactics used by some people in the industry, I've seen those who are sincere and dedicated in helping people "get out of the rat race" and achieve financial freedom. And there are people out there looking for solutions to their financial problems. MLM are just among many methods I can use to make extra income, though its not necessary the best way. So I definitely agree that MLM is here to stay for decades or more.
