hello friends,, recently a question came into my mind while watching the india- srilanka cricket match.. today also, the umpire has given a wrong decision.. however the player rescued himself by appealing to the third umpire due to the new rule.. as we have also seen many times that many players have banned for some matches or have fined for their behaviour in the cricket match... then if u think that umpires should also be punished for their wrong decision as it changes the status of the match

See one thing players are fined due to unlikely behaviors which are not good for the game. It may even be against umpire but after all they are judges and mistakes do happen. When batsman gets out, is he punished? Going to pavilion is just part of the game. Samely umpire can't be punished for a wrong decision(a single one). If they do it at regular basis just remove them off. As the batsman are punished when they are against cord of conduct so umpires should also be punished only when thier actions are against cord of CONDUCT. new rule again eliminates human errors
