Cost of Living in the Metro has gone up. Would you still go for urban living?

OMG, there is another fare price increase that made my pocket almost empty even if I just received my salary a few days ago. I live in the province and work as well and yet I can feel how the cost of living has started to rise. What more in cities? The costs will probably go up double since taxes are paid higher. Cities wherein there are more developments in infrastructures, national roads that have their own street and traffic policies (causing commuters to avail more rides), payment on rentals and accommodation rises up and many others. And so, if I maybe asked, I would rather stay here in the rural area for good than go living an urban life. What do you think?

If I had the chance I would rather stay and earn my living in the province. The cost of life there is much cheaper compare to the city.

as you have said, it is cheaper to have a rural living than live in the city.
