Thomas Beatie, the PREGNANT MAN gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Susan Juliette. Thomas, formerly a woman,is now a man. He became a man in appearance and other parts of her/ his anatomy as well. Technically, he is now a male. How do we look at this?

I am somewhat fascinated by this pregnant person who used to be a woman but is now lives as a man. I did not know his name is Thomas Beattie. Anyway, I think that if he chooses to live his life this way, it is probably okay with me. He seems like a caring and thoughtful human being, at least during the interviews that I saw on TV. What he is doing is more than a little unorthodox. It does seem there is a small percentage of people who do not feel they fit in either gender of male or female, and he seems to be one of them. Transgendered people exist all over the world and he is apparently the first transgendered person to do what he's done (live as a man but endure a pregnancy), as far as I know. You have started a very interesting discussion, WATARIKENJI.

I'm against gender changes all together. One thing I don't understand about those attracted to the same gender is why they want to look like the opposite gender. I mean, if they are attracted to the same gender, and the same gender is attracted to them, why would they want to be the opposite gender? It makes no sense to me! Unless they are just trying to be accepted more, but by then everyone already knows they had a gender change. And he can stop bragging about being the first male to have a baby, because he is originally a woman.

As long as the baby is loed, what's the problem? The world is changing, and medical siece is doig all kinds of iteresting things. Women give birth to babies all the time hat are murdered and aued. I hink that if a childis going to be loved, and is genuinely wanted, there's o problem with how it came ino he world.

I think its Ok for man to be pregnant if the wife can't. If they really love to have kids I don't see the point that they can't.
