ok i think that this question that has been around for awhile and i am going to ask it, when you have a partner(boyfriend or girlfriend)do you like them to be dependent or do you like them to not be dependent, as for me personally i like for her to be dependent to a certain degree but not like needing me to do everything for her and be there with her all of the time because honestly i think we all need our own time away from everyone else...so to a certain degree i like to feel like i am needed by her depending on me for some things...so what about all of you do you like someone that is dependent or independent? thanks for taking the time to read my discussion and i hope that you all have a great day!

I like my boyfriend to be a little bit of both. I don't want him to be TOO dependent on me to the point where he is smothering, and 99% of the time that is how he is so it's great. Everyone needs their alone time, including my boyfriend and I so that is where being independent comes into play. I like him to give me my space sometimes and he likes it when I give him his. :o)

I like someone that is independent. As adults,I think we should be independent. Then we can do everything freely without thinking about others.

well for me independence is a turn on. i think being independent goes both ways. both parties wont feel like they pressured in the relationship for things.
