I was watching this documentary on tv last night about the "wolfman" sightings in Wisconsin, and it revived my interest on legends and myths about werewolves and vampires and other myths and legends. When i was in highschool, i had this interest/obsession on werewolves. I'd read books about them, watch movies and documentaries. But i lost that interest when i got to college and learned about hullucinations and psychosis. But still there was that underlying interest. I've decieded to try and do a more extensive research on the subject and maybe i could write an article about it and have it published someday. So, MyLotters,do you believe in such things? Let me know about your insights. Or if you have useful info 'bout the subject, let me know, too. Thanks.

I am more of a vampire person, but i know there myths and my theory on myths is that there is a little truth in every myth. Do i really think there are people out there that drink blood to survive, not really. Do i believe that there are people that change into animals on the full moon No. I do believe in Moon Madness though and being in a hospital on a full moon adds to my belief in it.

Thanks. While i do admit that such myths can now be called "outdated", what with the moderns world's technology and medical advances and stuff, there are medical explanations of such conditions. Drinking blood, for example, was believed to cure some medical conditions dureing the 15th century or so. What i'm getting at is maybe these myhs did exist, they were just misidentified at the time they appeared and were highly romanticized. Hehehe. Anyway, to each his own. Thanks for that idea, though. 8)

That's why i believe that most myths are based on some sort of fact.
