How much money your parent gives for your daily school expenses

I'm sure today's daily expenses is so damn high. I'm concern how much your parent gives you daily. Refer to my past experience my parent gave me 2 dollar a day and that was in 1987.

Were you in the United States? I've found that allowance varies based on where you are (: Back when I was living in the Philippines I received $2 everyday, but after I moved to the United States, i started receiving $20 a week. Sometimes it was more, it just depended on other factors, too. Of course, I'm currently in college and work now so I don't get an allowance anymore. (:

My mother gives me 40php everyday.. which half of is spent for my transportation.. after my class, i would walk from school to home so that i could save the half..
