my mum told me once.to be free to give your love to others,and donot be anxious for
your love return,not even gratitude.i derive from what she said is that we should
give our love selflessly and don't always dwell on the payback.
i also learn experience from life that when we give presents,don't want the
present back of the same or more price.

That's giving in love without an attachment,that is the kind of love that is exected from us all.
