can i realy love my father the way i love my mother

he is not always there why.i wonder what life will look like if my mother is not there and now i dont care if he is around or not.is this real

We can't blame you if you dont love your father the way you love your mother. We cannot judge you... but the thing there is He is your father what ever happens he will remain your father come what may. Nobody can dictate you to love your father, only you can do.

I have a similar situation, my dad has not always been around. I still love him and try to have a relationship but I am a lot closer to my mom. I think in a way I try more with my dad just to sustain that bond.

I assume that it's your mother who is always at your side ever since you are young. And your father travels a lot. If this is your story. I understand your feelings. But no matter what you do he will always be your father. Just show some respect and loving. Maybe he wont ask for more.
