We've all seen scenes where firefighters are taken to their final resting places atop the fire engines they rode daily. We've seen police escorts of fellow brothers in blue who have lost their lives. We're even familiar with military funeral processions of one kind or another. Well, how about this one? How special is this??? I think it's great his employer allowed this!! ---------------------- UPS driver gets special, final delivery The Associated Press CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. - Jeff Hornagold loved being a UPS driver. So when the suburban Chicago man died this week of lung cancer, longtime co-worker Michael McGowan agreed to take him on one last delivery. McGowan transported Hornagold's body from Davenport Family Funeral Home to Saturday's funeral services in his UPS truck. McGowan says he plans to keep a picture of Hornagold in his truck until he retires so that they can keep riding together. Hornagold was a UPS driver for 20 years, and his wife Judy Hornagold described him as "just the happiest UPS man alive."She says the special delivery was the perfect tribute. ,,,Information from: The Northwest Herald, http://www.nwherald.com source - http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/news/84-07272008-1568700.html ---------------------- So, have you personally attended any really special funerals that stood out to you? Would you want one? Describe it!

That is a very special delivery for sure. I think it is great that this was done for this man and I'm sure it had a special place in his families hearts to see the love and care from his former worker. I always have liked the Big Brown Truck and this just makes me like it even more. I have never seen or heard anything like this before personally.

Absolutely. This was one of the best human interest stories I had read in a long time!
