Best way to make a living online

OK, the question here is what is the best way people have found to actually make a decent amount of money online? Mylot is great and it is a nice diversion and a way to make a few cents while taking some down time from working, but I am a stay at home mom looking to make a little extra money, I am not looking for a get rich quick thing, and I don't have money to put in I am willing to work and spend 3-4 hrs online at night blogging but I don't know if I am using the wrong topics or what... I am on http://hubpages.com/profile/blogging2 I am on Adsense with them but am really not seeing results... Is it my topics maybe? Any advice would be greatly apprechiated!
