best response only to friends?

nope. i do not only award best response to friends. i read all and what i like most, i just award best response.

I read all the comments and choose the best answer regardless if they are my friends or not. I even give it a month before i choose the best answer.

There is a strong inclination to do just that, but I try to resisit it as much as possible, by really picking out a deserving BR!

Hello boxieblue, I always take some times to mark the best response and I will not do it immediately until I am satisfied that I received enough responses. Normally I will read all the responses before deciding to mark the best response and it doesn't mean it is only for my friends. If someone gives me a good answer and I think he/she deserves the best response, I will just mark that for him/her. That's fair, I guess. I do believe some will try to help other friends by marking their response as the best one and anything can happen here which is beyond our control.

Nah, I select the best response to whoever I truely feel answered my discussion the best. I usually give it a week or two to give everyone a chance to respond, and then bam. Slap on the best response to whoever I think is most qualified. Why? How do you choose who deserves best response?

Hie Boxieblue, I would spend time looking through the responses and select the ones that deserve the BR. I did post some topics and was seeking some answers, it is only fair that I give the BR to those who have the answers that I wanted. I normally will do the selection once a month spending time going through my unresolved discussions. Cheers,

Nope! I choose best responses not only from my friends. I read all comments first and fairly decide the best answer for me. Ciao!

I read complete responses and then I select the good one for best response, It is not neccessary for every discussion, it depends on the right responses.

I am reading all the comments too. It`s not always the same person answering best way.
