PUNJABI MUSIC IS FAMOUS IN ALL PARTS OF INDIA AND IN CANADA..
i m a big fan of punjabi music..
i think that punjabi music , particularly folk music contains the esscence of our mother land..
do you beleive the same...???
IF U HAVNT LISTENED IT THEN TELL ME ..
I WIL GIVE U SOME PRECIOUS SONGS WHICH EVEN THOUGH IF U DONT UNDERSTAND, U WILL BE SPELL BOUND BY THE MUSIC..

Once upon a time Hindi film music lyrics were completely in Urdu or mixed with Hindi language. The music then was wonderful and absorbing. In recent times due to lack of good lyricists and with the advent of Pop Bhangra and globalisation of music the Punjabi genre has cut deeply into film music. Not only that nowadays you find Rap and English lyrics thrust into Hindi music giving it an international flavour. But the rythm has now become staccatto and monotonous. Half the lyrics today are Hindi and half Punjabi and with rap and English words it has become a strange and unpalatable concoction. I have nothing personal against the Punjabi language but i personally find too much of Punjabiyat rather irritating.It leaves me cold, frankly.

thats your opinion and i apreciate ur point of view but still these songs can spellbound me than any english songs..
these are the songs that make oue feet to dance..

I beleieve that Punjabi Folk music is the most am=azing in the world, and tha is the only thing that I listen to. i love the beats abd the diffferent instruments, I have so many favorites that it is hard for me to narrow down to even like 5 singers songs or even albums. If you guys have not heard it please search it on youtube, and enkoy the amazing music.
