performance of team in 1st test match in srilanka

Its too early to say that. Many senior players are not present in this team which makes the team inexperienced. To win a world cup, its not easy. So I feel this present team has to work hard to become number one.

India played as usual and srilanka played awesome hope India wins the next match. but i think that they ll loose the next match even worse. i rate srilanka no.1 in the world mahela is a doing great job.

I think India did alright, ok they didn't bowl well obviously but to face muralia and mendis for the first time is very difficult. You could see how many times they read medis's spin wrong.I think they will do good in the world cup but thats up to them.

will my friend one thing about cricket is that it is a very unpredictable game. We have seen miracles happen in this game and that is the reason why you cannot generally use a formula and say who is going to win otherwise the team who is ranking at the top will never fall and will never lose. This is a game played by humans and so there are errors being made which are quite human in nature and that is the reason why even good teams lose very badly. Definitely the performance of the Indian team is not something which is acceptable to the standards which we have. Specially nowadays we have seen that our team is even doing better overseas. So the step of performance is definitely disheartening for defence of the Indian cricket team. But this is hard to say whether they will win the World Cup or not on this performance because it is very evident from the way each of the players got out in Indian team, that the still have the mindset of a one-day or the 20 overs game format. And that type of mindset can never give you good results in a test match. It is the real game of cricket very have two focus and show all your skills to perform. Each and every player of our team got out very cheaply as if they were playing the 20 over format game. Plus the players looked totally out of practice because most of them didn't play for more than one months or so. These are the fact is why we lost in a big way. But definitely it is hard to predict whether this performance will mean anything in the limited overs cricket. And on the personal note I definitely do not want our team to perform badly they did in the test match when they're playing the World Cup. It was very disheartening even the way they performed in the last World Cup and I hope that performance also will not be repeated in the next World Cup to come.
