How do I sign into Messenger & automatically have myself signed into my regular

yahoo mail?
I sign into messenger, & it shows I have mail in my regular yahoo mail account. However, messenger won't sign me into my regular yahoo mail automatically. I have to sign in separately. I know it can be fixed, but after many hours I can't fix it. Please help!
