Did you notice this at reviewstream?

Reviewstream is a site that pays for writing reviews. I write at this site for quite sometime now. I just wanted to ask if these days you are being paid in the bulk rate of 40 cents instantly after submitting the review. I have been observing it for sometime now. Have you noticed the same?

I submitted my first review to them last Friday and still haven't heard back. Don't they always get back to you even if it's to tell you they rejected your review? I had heard someone say that you shouldn't check of the bulk rate box when you submit because then they won't reject, they'll accept and pay you the bulk rate. But if you don't check it off they might reject it, but then you just make it longer and resubmit it and you'll probably get paid the full rate.

Okay I DID just get the acceptance on my first review and they gave me the full $2 for it! I think you should NOT check off that you'll accept the bulk rate.

You are right. Actually the bulk rate column used to be seperate from the other two before. Now they have shifted the position of that column. I actually did not care and so I ticked it also. It was a mistake.

I don't think that ticking or not ticking the bulk rate box makes much difference at all. I used to not tick it and when some of my views got rejected at the $2 rate I found it annoying and time-consuming to have to re-submit with the box ticked. Now I tick it every time and I still get paid at the $2 rate a lot of the time. I think if they're going to accept it at the full rate then they'll accept it, whether or not you tick the box.

Yes, I've noticed this too!! In the last few weeks I've been getting instant confirmations on all of my reviews, whether I'm being paid the bulk rate or the full $2 rate. I've been trying to find out if other people have had this too, but nobody answered my questions, lol! - and you're the only other person I've seen mention it so far!! I'm wondering whether they're doing this for everybody or if you have to reach a special number of reviews 'milestone' before it happens. Have you been writing for Reviewstream for long? I've been there a month and a half, and I've been getting these instant confirmations since I reached the $40 dollar mark - or thereabouts. But that might be a fluke; it might be a new rule that applies to everybody. I'd be interested to know about this.

I have been writing for reviewstream for about 2 years. But I see these instant confirmations only now. I am also not sure if instant confirmation is given to everyone. I think if a new person joins they will observe the reviews for sometime before being set to instant confirmation.

Thanks for replying back. Yes, that's the impression I get too, as I've seen a few people on here recently saying that it's taking them a long time to hear back after submitting their reviews. So it's possibly a recent change but for people who are past a certain milestone. A bit off-topic, but can I ask you roughly how many times you've been paid within the two years? If you don't want to answer, don't worry. I hope I've still got enough ideas and inspiration to still want to do it in two years!

It depends on what you will write and number of reviews. You will get paid 2 for good review and 40 cents for all accepted.
