Not normally, no, and never have done with an actor. Have done on occasion to writers, though, but only in a 'sent them an email about their book' way. Did exactly that with Scott Adams yesterday (the guy who writes/draws 'Dilbert'), about one of his books. But then, Scott's always actively encouraged people to email him about anything, and I suspect he gets half his ideas there. No matter how stupid a situation in a workplace he puts in his comic strip, he always gets someone writing to him and saying 'Oh, that happened here. You should hear what they're doing NOW...'

I'd say I'm 99% sure he reads all of them, or at least tries to. I imagine it's a hell of a sight to see his inbox in a morning ;)

Yes, when I was a kid I got a book with different celebrities' bios and their addresses to write to them. I think I wrote to a couple but never got any photo or response.

nop. i havent really tried that. not even when i was younger. i dont know, i am just not a great fan of anybody..hehe i like some celebrity but i have not tried emailing them or writing them letters. do they really reply to your letters anyway? i thought because they are very busy, they have no time to reply to those letters as well. but it's good to know that they actually do. i mean, some of them anyways.

I used to write to athletes when I was a kid and actually got a lot of autographs and memorabilia. I am a Language Arts teacher and last year to teach writing a letter, I had my students write a business letter to actors/actresses, atheletes, corporations, etc. We actually got alot back.

Hi friend, when i was at school i used to write letters to celebrities. That time i thought that they are replying to our letters and sending photos to us.Most of letters would not get replies. After school i stopped doing this and fed up. Have a great day.

I wrote to Guiseppe Andrews from Independence Day when I was like 13 or something. He did send me a picture back and I am trying to remember if he did actually write a letter. He may have but I am fuzzy on that part.

I don't do that with movie or tv stars, but I used to write to different athletes and would get autographs that way. It has been years since I did that, but I did get hundreds of autographs by doing it when I was younger.

I have not written to a celebrity but I have written to and author. I like the book and I wanted to see if she was coming out with something else. But I didn't hear anything back from her. I guess that she was too busy. But other than that no fan mail from me.

No, i never done anything like that in my life. I admired celebrities but not to the extent that i will solicit for their autograph and pictures. If i will see a movie star i will just look at them with open curiosity. Then i will go on my own way.

I never wrote movie stars at all. I have joined a few fanclubs for singer, but never just wrote to famous people i think it would have been a waste of time, but I never done it so I don't know if they would have ever responded back or not.

Good day.. I never imagine myself writing a celebrity or keeping a picture of them. I just watch their movies and read their biography from time to time. That's how far I can and did go

I've never done that and i doubt i will. If i like a certain movie star i'll just watch his/her movies. The same with singers and writers. But one of my friend is very crazy about getting autographed photos and everything related to her idols. She would be very upset if she overhears someone's talking something bad about her favorite stars too.
