DNA structure - This is the model of the DNA structure!
Yep, that would be DNA, or Deoxyribonucleic acid (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNA )

Yes, please do explain! Why do some pea plants grow better than others? Can it translate into better crops?

well.............all our body is made up of proteins and these proteins are nothing but a sequence of specific amino acids beaded together in various primary, secondary and tertiary patterns that gives them their identity and separates one protein from the other.the specific sequence of these amino acids is given by the specific gene coding of the DNA molecule of that organism.well, in some of the pea plants the DNA is so programmed that it leads to the formation of protein molecules at a faster rate than the DNA coding of some other pea plants which have a slower rate of protein formation. AND THS RESULTS IN SOME PLANTS GROWING FASTER AND BIGGER AND OTHERS STAYING STOUT. well this is a brief answer although it has a much deeper mechanism.

well actually, I already know the answer to this question, and I do by all means hope that anyone who was in 10th grade once knows the answer as well. Genetics! It's simple as that. There's DNA that is individual to everyone (excluding identical twins!) and it's what gives them their traits. There's dominant and recessive "genes" that children inherit from their parents. There's even a chart to find the probability of certain traits happening in whatever you are breeding together including flowers and all animals. However, I've forgotten the name of that monk who invented it whilst growing his plants!

well for someone as smart as you and getting an education that obviously requires a lot of studying I'd expect you to spell tomorrow correctly instead of 2morrow and you as u and things like that. I never questioned that you had an edge over me, in fact, I assumed that you were a professor or teacher thinking that it would be fun to educate mylot. So, good luck in school, and I am sure you'll do great since you are very enthusiastic! Plus, helping people on mylot like this is a great study tool!
