Are you still friends with your childhood best friend?

I met my "brother" in high school art class, had several classes together in high school and college. Joined the Army together, went to seperate boot camp locations, got out after a few years. Roommates for a few years, had a 2-year squabble between each other, made amends to each other. Been best friends since, stronger now than before. Close to 30 years now.
