I will be going to Bohol on September. It will be a four day vacation. I am really excited. This will be my first time to go there and ride an airplane (I'm embarrassed to say). For those who love to go on local trips, can you give me tips on what to bring and what places to go there.

i had a bohol trip last october last year & i really had a great fun! in fact our trip is in cebu (3days) & day tour in bohol. when we're in cebu we rode an oceanjet going to bohol 7 it took 45 minutes. once we arrived in bohol our itinerary are: morning 1. chocolate hills 2. hanging bridge in loboc afternoon 1. loboc river cruise (this is really fun & romantic) 2. tarsier sanctuary 3. mini zoo 4. panglao island then we went back to the port before 5pm coz the schedule of the boat is 5pm. even though it's just a day tour, we really had so much fun!

Good enough for a day tour but you could have an overnight at Panglao then at early morning go for dolphin watching then proceed to Balicasag Island still at Panglao for snorkeling and oh you missed Prony the giant python, Blood compact site and one of the oldest church in Baclayon

I haven't gone to Bohol yet but a thing that is essential in traveling is your camera do not forget this or else you will be surely sorry that you have left it behind..bring things that you need most if you have allergies better bring medicines with you..you do not want to be hospitalized during a vacation right? bring also medicines for headache and dizziness but in case you get dizzy in the plane there will be a medicine available there..the the usual traveling kits..your clothes, personal stuffs and enough cash to sustain your vacation..^_^ have fun on your vacation!

I haven't been to Bohol but that's one of my dream destination. Hope to go to Bohol in the near future. Since Bohol is a very beatiful place it is a must to bring your camera if you have an underwater camera it is an advantage, video camera will be helpful too. Don't forget to bring your snorkel set if you have one, the water there is so clear you will be able to enjoy the underwater world if you go snorkling. Hope that help

Bohol is a great place! I bet you are really excited for the travel. I would always say, travel light but I can not do that myself. Bring whatever things you need to bring as long as you are comfortable traveling with them. bring toiletries in small packages or just plan to buy in Bohol. Go to the typical tourist destinations - chocolate hills, loboc river, hinagdanan cave, panglao beaches, etc. In tagbilaran, make sure you try Garden Cafe, a nice and affordable restaurant. The Bee restau in/near Island Mall (not so sure about the name) but they serve organic stuff. Enjoy your trip... let us know how it went.

My sister and my mom went to see the tarsiers. Aside from feeling bad for looking at nocturnal tarsiers during the day, I believe they enjoyed that part of the trip. They also went on a river cruise where they had lunch on a raft-like boat and of course, they checked out the Chocolate Hills. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go with them because they seemed to have liked Bohol quite a lot. Have a fun trip. Just enjoy the four days and don't stress out over little things that may go wrong. I tend to do that and I always regret that there are moments in my trips that I was being a sourpuss. :)
